I want to start selling ad space on my site and I'm looking for good banner manager software.

Few wishes:
[*] Possibility to use rotating banners
[*] I want to give my customers the ability to check the succes/stats of their advertisement campaign.
[*] Customers can choose between "buying pageviews" and "buying adspace for a specific period".

Is there a piece of software that can handle all this ? Any suggestions ?

Thanks!

Pasqual

phpadsnew appears to be the best, and most widely used, but unfortunately it is extremely taxing on server resources. It would be nice if they could eliminate some redundant tracking, or something that didn't adversely affect the server so badly.

I've been playing with phpadsnew all night and I must say I'm impressed!

Ditto - it's a great program.... but the databases get HUGE and it can really tax MySQL, particularly on active sites.

Make sure you use compact statistics on busy sites and clean the database every few weeks.
Delayed database inserts also help to improve speed.

I like AdsPro myself.

I've used phpadsnew for years. I did run into a problem about 6 months ago when my db got corrupted but it wasn't a hard fix. Ditto on trimming your databases unless you really needs months of data.
