It was suggested at UBBCentral to post here on UBBDev.

For several reasons I think its important to drive traffic to our forums and one way is to send out notification emails when for example
someone post a reply or to a list I follow or when someone submit a PM.
Especially when someone submit a PM then the sender would like to know that its been unread or read.
Above is already enabled BUT..

The email notification could instead include a teaser only so that the email receiver must click and open the message in the actual forum to read it.
The teaser could include a title and info who the sender is and a link to the PM message board.
It could maybe be like this for the threads/posts that I follow as well.
I'm sure a lot of these messages are read in the emails today and the receivers don't always visits the forum.
The receivers sometimes answer their PM's direct from the email and then it goes to the forum admin which is not ok really.

I know that the emails that are being sent out are different types and that it may affect other that needs the full content to be sent out.

is there a list on all types of outgoing emails thru the mailer.php?
I can see that its been used for registrating, verification, temp passwords etc

My intention is to make it more important to visit the forums at all time.
