"Safe mode" is a PHP configuration option that limits what scripts can do. In safe mode, for example, scripts are limited in which files they can access.

Please provide some background information. What exactly were you doing when this message appeared? Have any changes been made to your threads configuration or server recently?

It appears when I want edit my language files ONLY.
When I edit templates, allready is ok. I change chmod for 666 for all files but didn't help me.

Safe mode was "turn on" few days ago. I run my forum on commercial server, so I cant change any serwer options...

Are the permissions for the languages directories 777? The directory "languages" should only need execute (and maybe read) access. The subdirectory that contains the actual language file being modified might need write access, although I'm not sure about that; I think a directory only needs write access to create/delete/rename files, not modify existing files.

By the way, which UBB.threads version is this?

All directory have set 777.
