Here is what I want done. First, I'd like to say that I'd prefer it be done by a "team" of people from here, not gonna name names, but 5 or so of you, or just one guy, if he thought he could do it well on his own.

Here is what I want. I want to integrate everything on my site with Threads, yet make it secure.

I have:
Chat software
Job db software
webumake software
webmail software
contest software
newsletter software
and I probably something else I can't think of.

I can't have people logging in ten times with different users/passwords for each section.

I also have an "apply today" "request info" "skills checklist" section that I want to use threads.

For that part and the jobs, I'd like to have the company sign up as the user and anytime they are selected to send the info, it goes as a PM to their username. Also, It would be beneficial for users who work for that company to be able to also login to that "company" username to check the status of their requests and apps.

I'd also like to be able to pull polls and such to the homepage along with any other info, like using IIP.

I'd like for users to be able to do everything on my site using their "my home"

I'd like for them to be able to go to my home and click check email and it will automatically take them to their inbox.

I'd like for each seperate section of the site, like jobs, email, etc. to require an initial user/pass, which would be their forum user/pass which will get them signed up for the "service" that they want to use, but also on that is the option for them to sign up for the other services. This would not be counting the chat and Contests as all that would entail is them being logged in to use it.

I'd also like for there to be a section under "MY" home that I can view all of the companies and their status as far as number of jobs they have posted in the job section, etc.

Also, I'd like to have "JOBS" forum where when they fill out the form for a job that it goes into the jobs database AND shows up in a post in the "JOBS" forum, and vice/versa.

I'm sure that there are quite a few other things that I am missing here, and I understand that this would be a large and complicated project, BUT I am very dedicated to providing an easy and simple solution to my problem, no matter what it takes.

If there is an easier way, I'd love to hear it.

If no one here is interested in taking on this project please forward me the contact information of anyone whom you think would be interested.

Also, I'd like for the db info to be used by other threads licenses on sites using the same server as mine, which I just purchased and recieved today.

Also, a rough estimate of the price of something like this would be appreciated and yes, I'm sitting down for it.

oh yeah, one more thing:

crap I forgot. Big thing, I'll remember later. Damnit I hate that. It was important too...

I yeah, just remembered another thing. I have another domain that we could make a mirror site on to make all the changes so it wouldn't affect the current setup. Then just switch it over.

Hello? Anyone? Comments at least........

It hasn't even been 12 hours.

This may be too big of a project for me alone, but I might be able handle some parts of it.

I guess all of the different pieces of software were obtained from different sources? Rather than trying to integrating them, it might make more sense to start from scratch, and design a single package that has all the features you need.

I still have webmail integration on my todo list and will do it as soon as I get the time, but at the moment I'm integrating threads with Mambo Site Server and moving my site to that system so it wil be a while until I can get to the webmail part.

Seems quite a bit much for me too.

I'm not afraid. E-mail me with the details and we can talk. I can arrange to take a week off every month from my regular job.

Thanks, Bud, but you're about a week too late. I will keep you in mind though for my next big venture
