I'm looking to make the move to a new web hosting plan, but there seems to be quite a variation in price for what appears to be near-identical plans-- what am I missing here?
FYI, I have a small site running UBB Classic that could fit more than comfortably on 500MB, but would love 1000MB, I get on average about 40k pageviews/month. I'd like something running Linux w/ shell access.
Reading through the previous posts, people have good things to say about digital.Princeton.
I had been considering going with
100 megs advanced plan, which looks identicle to d.P's comparable plan, except it has 20GB bandwith compared with d.P's 25GB, and most importantly: 100 meg's plan costs 1/3 less per month.
I know the old maxim: you get what you pay for. Still, for a website as small as mine, am I really going to notice a difference if I go with the cheaper plan? Price is a consideration; my decision has to be between a 1000MB plan through a less-expensive host, or a 500MB plan through a more-expense, perhaps more support/reliability host.
Thanks for your feedback!
