I've had a lot of problems with my recent web host, so after a 3-4 day downtime, I decided enough was enough. I e-mailed for several months prior to this, trying to get subdomains set up, e-mail accounts active, secure FTP transactions, and all the other little features they promised me months and months ago. But this time, I e-mailed them asking to have my account cancelled. It only took a mere 1 hour to get a response.

I promptly told them the whole story, and that I had already switched my servers, and here, again, was their response:
Keep in mind, that my DNS WAS already changed, and I had ALREADY deleted everything from my FTP site.
Two more days go by, and still, the account is ACTIVE! I e-mail them back telling them this is the server that I had come to expect from them, and THIS is why I'm cancelling my account.

And I'm NOT making this up...this is TOO good to make up!
I can't believe the nerve of these idiots! ARGH!
What can a consumer, such as myself, do about this situation? Obvioulsy recommend that NO ONE uses this server, but other than that, what can I do?
