We've seen some new "Flavored Colas" hit the market in recent month. First there was Vanilla Coke, then Pepsi Blue, now Diet Vanilla Coke. Add those to the Cherry Colas and the Lemon Twists already long available, as well as other herbal additives and smaller brands.

Who likes them? Have they changed your drinking habits? Are you consuming more soda than before, at what beverages expense.

As for myself. I've always been a big Vanilla Cola fan. I would add Vanilla syrup, or mix Cream and Cola together. When Vanilla Coke came out, I found it too sweet for my taste. Pepsi Blue - all I can say is what were they thinking. Diet Vanilla Coke isn't bad - when it is on ice, straight-up it's pretty vile tasting. I prefer the Diet Cherry flavors to the sugar ones (again too sweet tasting). I don't care for either Lemon Twist Colas.

And what the hell is Mr. Green anyway?

Pepsi Blue is good. It doesn't replace Mountain Dew, but it's good.

Vanilla Coke definitely replaces any other Coke-brand cola I would ever buy, but it still tastes too much like Coke to be any good. Pepsi proper is so much better.

And I never liked the lemon colas much. I accidentally squeezed a lemon into my Pepsi glass once (instead of the water glass sitting right next to it which I meant to put the lemon into), and it didn't taste all that bad, but the packaged lemon colas just don't do it for me.

That is because there is no Lemon in the lemon colas. They just added a little more ascorbic acid (vitamin c) to give it that tart taste.

How about Code Red/Diet Code Red? Fusion Dr. Pepper?

Pepsi Blue is pretty good. It reminds me of coolaid and the popsicles I used to get at the beach in FL.

I keep hoping they'll come out with the following two flavors:
Lime CocaCola and Spiced Rum CocaCola (alcohol free)

Dr. Pepper Red Fusion and Mr. Green are the best new ones I think.

Code Red was okish, but regular Dew is much better.

I have never, and prolly never will, like any diet drink.

I don't like Red Fusion at all, but then, I don't like regular (or diet wink ) Dr. Pepper either.

And I've never even heard of Mr. Green......

It's from Sobe. http://www.mrgreen.com/
Jamin IS the absolute soda CODE, especially since he named his old site after his liquid love and gaming love. Combine them! Liquid Games! Genious!

I HATE diet soda. I drink it when I have fatening foods. wink Code Red is good, not GREAT, not bad, not just OK... It's good. wink

Never tried Red Fusion yet, and Mr Green has yet to come to MA. wink

I like Vanilla coke. Like Jamin, it replaces most regular coke I drink during any given day. (Where it is sold)

I like Pepsi twist. Gives me the Vitamin C i need.
Pepsi blue is a bit of an odd idea. Never tried it. I should..

I prefer cherry coke over the pepsi one. I'm a coke fan. wink

I like my Pepsi, it just has a better taste.

Vanilla Coke is okay. Nothing special and I prefer Normal Coke.

No Pepsi Blue in Australia yet, just Pepsi Twist which is nice.

Awaiting Cherry Coke too.

I have tried Diet Lemon Coke and Diet Vanilla Coke. They are disgusting.
