multiple questions, and start and end times? nice!

What cracks me up is when other boards put in fucntionality and brag about how much better they are than infopop. then IP adds the feature and manages to think outside the box and make the feature a better implementation.

I like. smile

Suggestion: don't allow the vote now button to appear if it's not within voting time

Can't do that, unfortunately... the thing's cached.

What do you mean by "cache"? I never really understood it. Does it mean, it's cached, so if someone views it, and then they come back after the stopping time, since it's cached, unless the admin has cleared the cache of the board after the stopping time, it'll look the same? (Because the browser cached it to load quicker next time?)

One thing that came out on the test board here, not sure if it was the "designed intent" or not, or whether it has been addressed if need be.

  • Poll is set with start/end times
  • You may not view results unless you vote
  • After the poll ends voting is closed
  • However, it still will not let you view the results unless you voted during the time in which you could
  • The only people who can then see the results are the ones who voted
  • People who did not vote or missed their opportunity to do so, cannot see the results.

Here is the thread in question https://ubbdev.com/test/test1/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=8;t=001944
There should be an option to show results after poll ends.

I'm almost positive that I made it possible to view the results after the voting had ended regardless of the vote-first option.

If not, I'll make sure that works in the final release.

Capps, another suggested feature would be a weighted poll.

The poll gives the voter several choices and they have to assign each one a place (#1, #2, #3). This allows them to make multiple picks, but in an order. Points are then assigned to the choices in a descending order, and the results tallied up.

Example, there are 5 selections to choose from. Each person voting picks their rankings #1-5, the first place pick gets 5 pts., 2nd gets 4 pts, etc.

More funner smile
