Yeah, wish I had a car for the few days... how far's Texas state from DC? Everyone I talk to keeps reccomending places "only 5 hours drive away". You can drive the length of my COUNTRY in a little over 5 hours! "just 5 hours" is an oxymoron!

Here in the US we prefer to use "10 more minutes". DC to TX in 5 hours...certainly not in any vehicle travelling on the ground. The weather in DC this time of year can be quite humid. Bring some extra anti-perspirant -Tacks

I don't live there, but close! (3-4 hour drive) But for your weatherin needs check out: http://www.weather.com/weather/local/USDC0001?y=0&x=0 looks like to be partly cloudy pretty much every day next week, (good since I'm starting to hate all this rain).

not really... did you know you could put everyone in the world in Texas and they'd each have ~1300 sqare feet of space? That's not near enough space...

I'd gladly pay you Tuesday, for a Hamburger today. I thought the probably was that English food is inedible...well everything except for the beer I guess...well provided it's actually served cold...never mind, I couldn't stand to drink warm beer either. Cheers -Tacks

Low-calorie wish-wash beer wannabe, ya mean! We have ye olde English brewries! More varietys of beer over here than you could imagine! Allen: We don't eat our own beef. It's population control for the rest of Europe! [ August 31, 2001: Message edited by: Borg ]

I don't drink any beer that looks like pee...except for Heiffe Weizen, which is even cloudy Now that I think of it, most the beers I drink are imported from the UK...well at least I keep them in the fridge! -Tacks

Please, guys, don´t talk about little countrys. I live in Uruguay, one of the smallest country of all the registered people here (smaller than the UK). Plus, one of the least populated also: only 3 million people.
I wouldn´t be surprised if after reading this, most of you took a map to look up where is Uruguay. (South America, little country between Argentina and Brasil).
