Anyone who can make heads or tails of that (in less than 10 seconds) deserves an award. *L*

I've got two questions: 1: Does it teach you how to write (and/or make heads or tails of) that type of code in books like Perl for Dummies? 2: What kind of moron actually spent time making the Perl language work like that?! Thank God that Ted didn't code like that... at least I can read the UBB coding without going crosseyed! (Understanding what it does is a different matter, though...) Just to make myself seem *kinda* smart, I would post the -qrpff program from CopyLeft... but I'm not sure how legal that is, so I guess I'll stay away from it... ---Skorpion
Don't put that signature in your mouth! You don't know where it's been!

oh my, Cal you have a lot of free time on your hands. Those Perl code pictures are pretty awsome too, yet I have no idea what Charles' code meant.

It looks like a stack pusher of sorts... It seems to check against 2 hash tables and if it doesn't exist in one but the other, put it there and move out values [ June 21, 2001 12:02 PM: Message edited by: MasterMind ]

Took 3 minutes. It's some code represented in an arbitrary way that gets translated back and fed to eval. Not as clever as say, the regular expression prime number lister. [ June 21, 2001 12:17 PM: Message edited by: MasterMind ]
