I'm still new to this hacking stuff, but I've added a few to my board called British Car Forum It is a forum dedicated to those who love little British sports cars (like Austin Healey, MG, Jag, etc). I'm running UBB 6.1.0.2 currently, with 4 mods: Who's Online, News Fader, Integrated Polls and the Calendar hack. Stop by and let me know what some of you experts think,

Looks pretty good Basil smile

Your choice of color is a bit unusual wink You might see about bringing some of the glare off the stark white of the forums with just a hint of color in it, maybe a FFFFF8 or something similar.

As far as modifications go, those are good choices, tho I would consider the "last reply by" and anchor hacks to round out member usability. smile They don't take much time to add, are stable, and make a good bit of difference.

Thanks for the feedback. I have been considering those hacks as well as the "Gradient Bar" hack.

That and you can't read the white text down at the bottom on the peach background. Otherwise, looks good. smile

I should probably change the text to black. By the way, the colors on the forum summary page and Jaguar forums are actually taken directly from pixel colors contained in the Jaguar XKE image at the top of the screen (which was my car in High School). The other forum color schemes are from pixels contaiined in the header images for each forum.

I like the look of the Austin Healey forum the best. That's pretty cool that you made each forum coincide with the colors of each respected logo though, creative... smile

Thanks, I used Adobe and blew up the images so I could see individual pixels, then by picking a particular pixel I liked, I could see what the RGB code was (Red=xxx, Green=yyy, Blue=zzz), then I used a little program that converted the RGB numbers to the hex code for use in the web pages. I like Allen's idea of putting a bit more color in the backgrounds though.
