It's been in development for quite some time now, and was originally scheduled for release on 10.31. However, since my local upgrade went a lot smoother than planned, and I got the rest of the site done a lot quicker than expected as well, I am very pleased to bring you Se7enet Halo!! The forums are completely redesigned 6.1.0 Release. Forums feature entirely new graphics for almost every image the forum creates, completely new and original forum_summary, forum_page, and topic_page templates. And so much more! And of course, the Main site is a completely redesigned Se7enet. Comments, good or bad, are greatly appreciated. I hope you like it. ---Skorpion

I like it, but it's very hard to read the buttons (artwork, written, etc), and I think the artwork section should pop up a new window when you click on an image instead of loading in the same one.

I agree - the buttons are vague and a bit hard to read. Hidden would be a better word. I like the images because they're thought-provoking for the most part, but you can kiss at least half your audience goodbye for using those darn nifty dHTML faders. Other than that, I guess it's kinda late, so I'm not at my best ranting ability. I'll come back to this one some other time.

LK: I will work on the transparency of the images and see if I can't make them a little brighter. And which artwork is loading in the same window? I think they're all zip files that should just donwload normally without touching the window. Indoe: Thanks for that! I always disable the stupid image toolbar anyway, so I didn't even think about it. But that's a great idea. I'll get that added in asap. EDIT: Matt: The dhtml faders are supposed to switch layers normally in NS4 (though I haven't tested it myself, just taking the script author's word). Opera is the only browser that they won't work in at all, barring all the old 3rd gen browsers. People should learn upgrade anyway. ---Skorpion [ 10-20-2001: Message edited by: Skorpion ]

Jamin, that is so cool! You really outdid yourself. I would have to say I like everything, the originality, the colors, and pretty much everything else! Great Job!

Tho, if I were you, I would fix it so on forum_summary page, when you look in a restricted area, you see last post in: last post by: but nothing next to them. Might want to write a tiny thing that takes that out since it's restricted.

Beautiful, that's all I can say....you guys really make me hate the fact that I upgraded to 6.05 just before the word that 6.1 was going to be released. Last I heard before that was that was going to be a long delay.
I put a lot of time into the templates on my board and just can't even think about an upgreade right now.
