Looks nice! I love the little pop-out menu on the side of your forum! But I like the page layout & colors on your main page a little better than the one on your forums.

if a topic has 0 replies it will go BOLD in the forum page! also some stuff to restirct over sizing!

Cool design, JM. The color scheme is awesome. I like that "razz" graemlin in the logo right by the speaker.

jm. ditch the red button things (next to catagory name and last post, etc). you're site is MUCH tighter without them! otherwise, definitely a hot forum.

definitely. they're very distracting. (im referring only to the actual forums half of your site. the site intro, etc, thats all you).

if you still want their functionality, thats cool. but, utilize your existing color pallete. and dont make them 3/d (which adds to the distraction, and takes away from your sites slickness), just use flat images.

if you changed those, and then mebbe your "new" and "no new" icons on the forum summary ... you're site would be damn near perfect, sylistically anyway.

just my take, but a good one!

the PM was just about your active topics hack. i asked if you could make one that'd display recent topics on ultimatebb.cgi (sent you the ubb v5 version). email me about this, if you want (so as not to make this post too off topic)

getting back ON topic, tho...

i just checked your boards, and they look MUCH better. the 3d red was just too distracting. now, your boards flow much smoother.


2 further suggestions:

1) the new / not new thread icons on the main page dont fit. the ones on the subsequent pages (the glowing folders) are nice... mebbe use a variation of those on the forum summary?

2) having the links the same color as text is always a lil confusing, (especially if somone links to a page within their post, like this ). maybe change link colors to red? (if you want that color back) or another shade of blue, to mix with your forums?

Jigga, put those red icons back in. Just change there colors to somethin like...lightblue. They looked good. ^_^
