Entry page doesn't do anything for me, how about just dropping right to the meat. Splash pages are only good if they're doing something - and that one isn't. It also throws off your color scheme - from black and red to blue and white, visually distracting.
Do you have information on what resolution your target audience is using? Optimizing your main area at what appears would be 1024 may not fit their screens.
Your 'New Post' and 'Post Reply' buttons are different sizes, okay they may technically be the same size, but the graphic edges are smaller on the 'Post Reply' button - distracting. Also they go back to the Red/Black scheme - which doesn't go with the blue/white/slate.
I think little pills would be more fun than lightbulbs in the 'new post' flags, but whatever, now I'm getting nit-pickey...
