i've seen on some ubb boards even though the link seems to be live there's no way to click on it, the link is not code tagged or cencored... How to set this function? Any idea?

well one idea is they use hxxp...

you could simply bann in the CP
http and www

so when someone post a link ubb will convert it to

****://***.link.com

or you could simply ban the :// as ubb convert everylink in http://

But a guess a proper hack cp controlled would be nice
