Was curious if anyone has tried to intergrate any of the Oekaki style paint applets into UBB? and if not, if anyone was willing to try. ( I had a hard enough time just converting the existing scripts to English and am still working out the bugs. smile )

For those who don't know, Oekaki BBS's are basiclly CGI note system wrapped around a Java paint applet allowing for the building of a community focused on creating and sharing artwork online.

Major Oekaki Style Applets w/basic scripts:
Paint BBS
Original Oekaki

Original Oekaki App w/script Converted to English:
English Oekaki

Most popular Oekaki Script (Adds extra interface and features to the frontend of the applet):
BBSNote

(Note: If you do not understand japanese, have your online translator up and ready for most of these links. smile )

Well, if anyone is interested in doing such a project I would forever be in your debt. Or if any of the more knowing could atleast tell me if its feasible to attempt before I start another project well beyond me, it would be appreciated. I would love to be able to include this seemlessly into my existing forums rather than having it as a seperate BBS (and a rather crude and feature lacking one at that.)

Just found this.
Doekaki

A seemingly much cleaner English version of cgi scripts for the common paint applets. Making it a bit easier to determine just how the applets pass data (Babelfish and the wording used in technical discussion forums doesn't always mix). Currently studying over Jordo's IntergratedPoll scripts as they are excuted much the way I hope to implement or see implemented the "Oekaki" into UBB.
