i am an admin for the saltwaterfish.com board and would like to know about other hacks that we are missing. i can't seem to find any that would be good for our board. we have the who's online but one item we would like to add is under the members name along with their rank, number of posts, location, etc we would like for them to be able to add what size tank they have and maybe how long they've been in the hobby. is this possible? also, any additional ideas on what can be done to improve the board would be great. ideas and what you would charge to make changes is welcome. please post or email me [email protected]

ok first no one charges here..we help for free..(good deal right, with the fact that u have to spend $250 for the ubb itself) anyway

to do this you need to use your custom fields maybe all four of them depending on what u want

anyway here is an example..if you want to make something say Tank: 20 Gallon right next to the post | location |register etc this is what you do..first use ur Control Panel to add a custom field...Lets Use customfield4 put Tank in that field...now open your vars_wordlets_mods.cgi file (Variables Directory) now insert
custom_field4 => "Tank: ", right after this %vars_wordlets_mods = (
now open public_topic_page.pl (Templates Directory) and find this $AuthorExtra and add this right next to it | $vars_wordlets_mods{custom_field4} $user_profile[19]
so it looks like this $AuthorExtra | $vars_wordlets_mods{custom_field4} $user_profile[13]$user_profile[13]
this should be correct but anyone is free to correct me
