This is a plugin to JFusion to integrate Joomla with UBB.threads.
I'm not the original developer, but I've updated it to work with JFusion 1.5.2 and done some minor additions.
I can't guarantee that it works for you, but I'm running it on my site.
My setup is using UBB.threads as "master" and "Joomla internal" as slave and having "Dual Login" set. This means that users can log into either Joomla or UBB.threads and get logged in to both.
It should also create users in Joomla automatically if they don't exist yet, and keep the databases in sync.
If you have any questions, I'm happy to help if I can.

Sorry for the delayed response and thanks for getting back to me so quickly. Here's what I have setup:
mydomain.com (Live site with UBBThreads 7.4.2 running) examplesub.mydomain.com (New Site with Joomla installed)
I tried installing the plug in through the joomla cpanel, and got these errors (I changed folder names in the message):
Warning: require_once(D:\xxxx\xxxx\subdomain-example\libraries\joomla\installer\adapters\jfusion.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in D:\xxxx\xxxx\subdomain-example\libraries\joomla\installer\installer.php on line 216
Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'D:\xxxx\xxxx\subdomain-example\libraries\joomla\installer\adapters\jfusion.php' (include_path='.;C:\php5\pear') in D:\xxxx\xxxx\subdomain-example\libraries\joomla\installer\installer.php on line 216 Not sure what that "installer.php" file is. It is not in that folder (hense the error)...
And I'm back... question, I'm getting the following errors:
Warning: include(\includes\config.inc.php) [function.include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in D:\xxxx\xxxx\xxxx\administrator\components\com_jfusion\plugins\ubb\admin.php on line 108
Warning: include() [function.include]: Failed opening '\includes\config.inc.php' for inclusion (include_path='.;C:\php5\pear') in D:\xxxx\xxxx\xxxx\administrator\components\com_jfusion\plugins\ubb\admin.php on line 108
I do not have a folder named "php5 (i.e. C:\php5\pear) mine is named "PHP"... so I am assuming this why I am getting this error?
Also, in my DIR C:\php\pear\ there is no folder called "includes" and therefore no file called "config.inc.php"
OK no luck on the cookie path questions, but I have a real issue that I need some assistance with. Got everything in sync with my Joomla site and UBB, but now new users get this error:
0: PASSWORD_UPDATE_ERRORDB function failed with error number 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1 SQL=UPDATE ubbt_USERS SET USER_PASSWORD = '6a204bd89f3c8348afd5c77c717a097a' WHERE USER_ID =1: BLOCK_UPDATE_ERRORDB function failed with error number 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1 SQL=UPDATE ubbt_USERS SET USER_IS_BANNED = 0 WHERE USER_ID =
I'm not sure if anyone is even reading these posts at the moment, but I will continue to post updates in the hope that someone will shed a little light on some of the issues I am encountering. Here's the latest update:
I was able to get the above problem resolved... the issue was that I was trying to use Joomla login as the master and the UBBthreads Jfusion Plugin as the slave. Reversed that (as it was originally described above) and now when users register through UBBthreads, an account is created in Joomla. Users who login through either side are logged into both.
First minor issue: When they log out, if they log out of joomla, it logs them out of UBBthreads, but if they log out of UBBthreads, they are still logged into the Joomla side... any thoughts?
Second issue: During the initial user sync, my Joomla "ADMIN" account was flagged as a conflict. I tried to ignore, then update the slave software, and later even tried deleting and recreating the account from scratch, but no matter what I try, my admin account has been rendered useless. Can't log in, I get the error "JUser::_load: User does not exist "
When I log in as another superadmin, I can see the account. It's very odd. Not sure if anyone has also had something like this happen?
