for some unknown reason, typing the word "python" gives my forum troubles.
i can type monty python.
see, that works on my boards just like that, because there is a period after the N in python. however, if i try to type it by itself, i get an instant 404 error.
crazy!
any idea?

It's your webhost, mod_security issue. Python is a coding language, they're "sensing" someone doing something malitous and giving an error.

NP, I've had a lot of experience with mod_security over the years; it's an anal retentive Apache Module and completely worthless unless you take the time to edit the rules constantly...
