Hi guys,

Does anyone know if it would be possible to change the "New Members" list style?

That is - change to 'list' style (much like latest posts) as opposed to consecutively?

Also, would it possible to change the number of names displayed?

Just a thought.

Don't have the time right now to post the actual changes, but to change to list format you'd just change the templates/default/island_new_users.tpl file.

If you want to display more, then just edit the cache_builders/new_users.php script. You'll see where it has "limit 5" in one of the queries. Just change the 5 to the number that you want to display.

Oh great one - I boweth beforeth your greatnesseth.... neth eth... ermmm ?

Works a treat mate - thanks for explaining it to this simple mind smile

Dare I ask for one more tiny feature?
Is it possible to incorporate the members number as well?
(...or possibly a date of registration?)

It would then look just like the old classic 'new members' island.

i.e.

at the moment I have...

fred,
joe,
Leah,
chris,
3333 Registered Users

Would it be possible to have....

fred (#3330) 25/04/07,
joe (#3331)26/04/07,
Leah (#3332)26/04/07,
chris (#3333)27/04/07,
3333 Registered Users

Or something similar?

Cheers, (A bit cheeky I know blush )

You'd have to recraft the sql query

Oh, I see.
You see, that's how ignorant I am.

I thought you'd be able to incorporate a variable into the script and "voila" that would be it.

Thanks anyway frown

I think you'd just have to add a couple more lines into the query wink
