Anyway, I own and administer a niche community of HR Professionals (
hr-man.com), as well as several other communities across the net. When I attempted to upgrade my UBB from 6.0.1 to 6.1, I almost killed my whole bb. I had to use the backup files and go back to 6.0.1. On another site, I had no trouble upgrading, but for some reason, the hr-man.com site got honory on me.
As a designer/developer for my own company (
476 Design) I find myself tied up in a ton of other projects right now, and I don't have time to fight with an upgrade at this point.
I'm looking for someone who is willing to do the upgrade for me (I have all the files necessary) and make sure it works. Then, I would like someone to make another page of the IIP (latest version) for me. I've got an older version running now, but want to focus a little more on it and take advantage of some of the goodies therein.
Any takers? How much would this cost?
If you get a chance, check out the 476 site - my skills lie mostly in the design side of things (with a little development) - I'd be more than happy to help anyone out with custom headers and footers or just creating a better look and feel for your sites. I know I'm dreaming, but maybe we can trade for the easy upgrade and install (I currently have no hacks).
