I had a question to ask and I figured this forum would be the place.

I wondering what everyone does to drive traffic to their site? I think I have a pretty decent forum going. I have almost 200 regged users but only about 10 that are active? what am I doing wrong? been open for over a year too.

that helps a lot so that people can find you. Also, be sure you are the busiest member on there. People will eventually go away if the owner of the site isn't interested either.

I just hit the 4k mark and the closest ne to me is around 3400.

Most of the people I talk to and other forums I visit, the users like to see images. Like, borders and just a nicely designed forum. not just different colors using css.

go offline. no, not with the community, with advertising!
print flyers and pass them out at relevant events, try to co-present events to land on posters, etc. - helped us a lot!
