Just curious to know what you lot run your whos online timeframe at? I know on here it's 90 minutes. On mine it's 15 minutes. what about you guys/gals?

is there any effect on the server load by running it at a greater time interval?

I would think the only way it would is when the who's online page is being displayed or if you display who's on now on your main page.

There can be yes. If you have a very large online time, that means more users in the online table. When it's trying to figure out how many are browsing each forum that can add some overhead. So you don't want something outrageously high.
