i'd like to do 2 things:

1) change the default response to the "Where do you want to go when you login?" question, in display preferences. right now, i believe, it defaults to "myhome.php" and i'd like it to go to my IIP index.php

2) change what everyone currently has as their selected option, so that everyone goes to "index.php" (if they want to change it individually afterward, thats fine)

The instuctions with the current version of the IIP mod have insturctions to do this.

i think the instructions just inform you how to add the option, so that users can select the index.php (which i've done ...and workin nicely! )

i was hopin to take that a bit further with the other two options, above.

Well to update everyone existing you could run a query like this:

UPDATE w3t_Users
SET U_StartPage = 'en'

cp - my home is set as the default in the database for new users - to change it, you could alter the default with phpMyAdmin or a query like this:

ALTER TABLE w3t_Users
CHANGE U_StartPage U_StartPage CHAR(2) DEFAULT 'en'
