I have tried to ban a block of IP #s through the control panel by using ###.##.###.% (#=actual IP#) and this doesn't seem to work. Users from that block are still able to register and SPAM my board. I've tried banning the entire block by leaving off the "%"... no go. Banning specific IP#s by including the last 2 digits seems to work but is not effective. So how do I get the ban function to work to ban an entire block of IP's from even registering???

Ban your IP range and try posting.

So far so good... looks like the "offenders" are able to register but not post. That's what I wanted! Thanks much!
