on my 6.4 boards, i had, like, 60 different skin styles for people to choose from. for obvious reasons, i've since gotten rid of that notion, because it was impossible to do upkeep on any of them (like, say, if i added a style class, or something).
so, when i moved to 6.5, my intention was to provide only 5 or 10 or so options.
however, just because i've nixed the "really really red" skin in favor of promoting the "default", doesn't mean someone who has "really really red" selected in their preferences moves over.
rather, they're trapped in a simple, skin-less world, with white backgrounds and black text.
sooo....
is there a way to make it so that if you have a skin selected that is no longer an option, you're automatically moved to the default? (that way, i wouldn't have to manually change the profiles of 750 users.)

You could either update EVERYONE to the default skin, or change only those whose skins you removed. The simplest way would be to blow everyone's preference away, and let them reset with the new choices.
UPDATE w3t_Users SET U_StyleSheet='usedefault'

thanks medar!
odds are, ill prolly go that route.
however, if i chose the other path, tho, and changed only those whose skins i removed (to avoid all the sure-to-follow grumbling), what would that be?

UPDATE w3t_Users SET U_StyleSheet='usedefault' WHERE U_StyleSheet='deletedsheet'
You would repeat that for each sheet you deleted, and you would use the stylesheet actual name (or keyword).
