i never know how to determine which line is which , so this is my entire file:

Code
<?
$ubbt_lang['ADD_NEW'] = "Add New Graemlin";
$ubbt_lang['GRAEMLIN_FORM'] = "Graemlins are graphic smilies that are used in posts. Please be sure that your /graemlins directory is writeable by the web server.";
$ubbt_lang['G_IMAGE'] = "Graemlin Image";
$ubbt_lang['M_STRING'] = "Markup String:";
$ubbt_lang['S_CODE'] = "Graemlin Code:";
$ubbt_lang['G_SUBMIT'] = "Add Graemlin";
$ubbt_lang['M_STRING_1'] = "This can be hardcoded, like \"smile\" so users can type :smile: or [smile] to add the smile graemlin to their post. You can also support multiple languages by using the \"$ubbt_lang['ICON_NAME']\" format. If you choose this format you will need to add the text strings into the generic.php language file in each language directory. Please use only one word - no spaces.";
$ubbt_lang['S_CODE_1'] = "If you wish to use a shorter code, such as :) for the new Graemlin, please enter it in this field rather than the Graemlin Code field. This field is optional.";
?>

Look for

Code
\"$ubbt_lang['ICON_NAME']\"
Change to:

Code
\"\$ubbt_lang['ICON_NAME']\"
No problem. I do that a lot myself.

Glad I could be of assistance.
