Other forums including classic had the ability to take you back to what you were just reading "after" log in. Many users seem to start reading and not realized they are not logged in. They log in and loose focus on what post they are on they then have to find the topic manually to make their post. I too feel my initial reply would have been better, but because my detour for failure to log in has zapped the spice out of what would have been a more eloquent reply.
