This is odd. I just updated the default style for my site, and it is the only style, so everyone should be forced to use it. Most people do, although a few are still saying they see the old style.

Ok, so to see if they were lying or not, I checked their profile. It did say "always use default". So it should work. I logged in as that user to double check, and sure enough it is still showing the old stylesheet. So I mean, why is this happening, and how can I fix it? It doesn't add up

Their profile probably holds the value for the old stylesheet, but since it's not in the list, it defaults to the default. ask them to update their profile and see what happens

If they pick the stylesheet name, rather than default, it then works. But they have to manually select the stylesheet that way, which defeats the purpose of "use default"

I had the same promlem, Jeremy. Here's the query to force an update.

UPDATE w3t_Users SET U_StyleSheet='usedefault'

Thanks eric. I still wonder why people who had their setting as default were still being shown the old one though. I've updated everyone, and hopefully that takes care of it

Scream came up with that for me a little while back. I wonder if it has something to do with caching, after I changed mine and took out the old one, so the new one was the only default, some users still saw the old one until I forced it.
