have a user getting a "The host you are trying to send the input from is not a valid host." now to me that says the problem is on the user side? they have tried clearing cookies to no luck. Any ideas

It's their firewall blocking the referrer info. They need to tone down their firewall stuff, or you need to disable the referrer check in the config file. There's a "trouble posting" thread in the how to site help forum here, which has specific instructions to help the user adjust thier norton settings.

I remember when I couldn't post because I had Norton Internet Security 2002 installed. I can't imagine what it's like now (I'm using Linux at home now), but I had to disable the referrer check in the config file to be able to post w/o disabling the firewall (which is never a good idea with Windows )
