portal should actually link to your main root index.php and yeah found the error and it seems you don;t have a path set correctly in custombox9pal.php because it can't find your counter/sc_information.php try putting the WHOLE path in the include statement.

ok this is the thing we had the IIP entrance working good (going on for about a month at least) any ways today when we tried to access it the page would not load. simple as that the error i get says the file doesnt exsist. now we had it running before but all of a sudden it disapeared. as far as the multiple footers.. that was always there from the moment we installed it. The reason that the errors are apearing in www.iogc.net/index.php is because I moved it from the /forum directory to try to get it to do something...

If you moved it, you'd have to adjust the path at the top of index.php and the URL in the /pals/configpal.php file.

Actually what happened was everything was running good for a few months and while at E3 in LA Adam put a few pictures up in a thread talking about what they had seen at E3. when the entrance updated it crashed...my guess is that it did not like thi pictures in the post that it was pulling into the news section of the entrance. I figured this out with a fair bit of trial and error removing one thing at a time. Has anyone ever heard of this before with this mod?

No - you should be able to display images in the post - just like anything else. What you do need to be conscious of is how many characters you're allowing.

For example, if you're allowing 200 characters, the HTML to display an image might get opened

<img src="http://wwwwwwwwwwblahblahlbh

But it can get "cut off" leaving an open tag on the page and that can really mess up the layout. If you're careful with the size limits, make sure it's allowing either "full" text or a long enough limit to allow all the HTML tags to get closed to preserve your layout.

But I display graphics in the news box all the time
