My registration confirmations are being sent to new registrants from [][email protected][/] (Apache is, naturally, what I'm using for a web server).

Which setting can I change to make the emails come from the correct email address?

Thanks.

That should come from the config file. You might need to turn on the option in the config file to pass the fifth parameter in the emails. Looks like your server might require it.

Thanks for replying, Josh.

I added: $config['fifth_mail'] = '1'; to my config file, but the emails are still coming from "Apache", something that I think confuses and worries new sign-ups.

Are there any other settings I should check?

Okay, after adding the $config['fifth_mail'] = '1'; to my config file, all emails EXCEPT temporary password emails are being sent correctly. Temporary password requests still come from Apache.

OK - then that looks like a bug. As long as nothing's been modified there - and now that we've narrowed it down you'll probably need to report this as a bug over at ubbcentral.com.

I guess you could try making sure you're using the most current start_page.php (which is what sends the password). But in 6.4.1 the mail function was centralized, so it's a mystery how it works in one script and not the other, since mail is only sent from one place in 6.4.1.

So we might need the master to track this down.

Post it as a bug and give a link to this thread so he can see the specifics.
