I just upgraded to 6.4.1 and my users are complaining that when they select a post within a thread the system used to take them to that exact post (in flat mode) but now takes them to the first post in the thread. Then they have to scroll down and search for the post they originally clicked on. A real hassle.

CLARIFICATION: In FLAT / EXPANDED mode, it doesn't matter which post you click on in a thread you always land on the top of the flat thread (that is, you always land on the first post in the thread) whereas in 5.5 or 5.4.6, you landed on the post within the thread that you clicked on.

This may not be a bug but is probably a design problem. Is there a fix? Thanks much!!

thanks, right, I saw the post with an apparent fix:

#{$postrow[$i]['Number']}

but I don't know which file or where in the file it might be placed.

Also, is this a bug and if so, should it be reported as such or ??

Yeah, I think it's a bug - I'm not sure I totally understand the issue, I think they are talking about the postlist template... the line that has the link to mode.php

But I'm not positive.
