Mod Name / Version: Admin Selectable Ratings 2.5

Description: This allows the admin to assign a custom rating image to the user. Useful for admins who want to be the one to assign ratings, or rankings, or you could use to signify the level of financial support you've received from a user.

I've included a series of colored star graphics, so you can define from 1-5 stars for each user, then you can change the colors of the stars. You can add alternate or any images simply by uploading them to the /ratingimages directory and they will be instantly available to you.

This modification is in use here for the UBBDevHaxxor logos.

Version 2.5 allows the admin selectable images to be used WITH the normal threads user rating system in place.

Working Under: UBB.Threads 6.4

Mod Status: Beta

Any pre-requisites: UBB.Threads 6.4 or 6.4.1.

New Files: included iamges (or images you supply) uploaded to /images/ratingimages

Database Altered: New Field, U_RatingImage added to the w3t_Users table

Info/Instructions: To use, edit the user's profile to select their image.

Disclaimer: Please backup every file that you intend to modify.
If the modification modifies the database, it's a good idea to backup your database before doing so.

Note: If you modify your UBB.Threads code, you may be giving up your right for "official" support from Infopop.If you need official support, you'll need to restore unmodified files.

Will this work in conjunction with the "cancer bean hack" ? You still haven't told us how you have both on here. Or have you?

Yeah, I had to change RatingImage to RatingImageTwo everywhere since my Haxxor beans already took RatingImage. But it's working now. I'm using it differently though. I wrote a script that assings a member a new star for every 3 months that they've been a member.

Well - this IS the mod for the haxxor beans. You just use the haxxor images instead of the included stars.

Can you assign a specific image to an entire group with this addon?

I'm using this mod to show who has donated to our forums. If someone has made a donation in 2004, the user is added to the group "donation2004" and this mod will show a little icon below the avatar. If someone donated in 2004 and 2005, it will show two images:

Installed the hack, but I can't seem to find a way to select an specific image for a group (f.ex. a Moderator image for the moderator group, an Admin image for the admin group etc..you get the picture). How would you go about doing such a thing?

This mod doesn't select images per group - this allows you to assign images to individual users.

I thought that aswell, as I couldn't possibly see a way to do so - I simply misunderstood the previous poster. I'll work on some code on my own, shouldn't be too hard to make a rough hack that selects specific images from different member statuses, I'll upload it when I finish it.
