someone used htat on my site today

i need to prevent that in the future and to delete all the pm that he sent (15000)

That would have to be a program that posts information to the forums and the only way to stop that would be to add some sort of spam blocker that makes sure that you can only send PM:s every 10 seconds or something like that. It isn't really possible to check if it is a normal user using a browser or a script hammering away at the server.

I think the script was in the spamers PC too

Does anyone know which program can be used to sent pm's to all members? Looks like they went by number in ascending order.

Are there any flood control measures for PM's already avaialble?

I have filters in the PM's but this person bypasses my filters by creating links to sites that redirect :-)

There should be a better wat to get some protection
