Hello. I have a user which makes stupid posts all the time and keeps making new accounts. I would like to delete his posts with an sql query if it can't be in any other way

Thanks

Using an SQL Query would be complicated and break lots of stuff, as the "delete" process updated board totals and accounts for any replies to posts that are made.

If you delete his posts, and there are replies to them... the thread will be "broke" when you try to look at it.

But - from the Admin menu, under Post Management, there is an option to delete all posts from a user. That offers 2 options as to how you deal with replies to a deleted post.

There was a whole option for this and I haven't seen it all those days. I may check my glasses.

Is there any way to add this function to all my moderators?
And lastly, is there any mod so I can give a specific moderator to be able to edit/delete from all the forums despite from showing that he moderats specific ones. Like a super moderator

Thanks

There's not a "mega mod" mod... but it's been on my list for a client.

Maybe I'll pull this off someday, but it's a long list.

Thanks Josh

About the function of delete posts to be added to moderators, is it easy?

Probably not terribly complicated..... but probably have to update a couple of scripts so it allows mods to access it, then add it to the moderator menu.

If I get a chance, I'll look at it.

Haven't had a chance.

I've been so swamped in prep for 6.3 and such, I'm working hard to keep up.

But it's on my list for when/if I find myself with nothing productive to work on.
