I saw this somewhere but couldn't find it:

What is the mod so that administrators can edit posts without having an "Edited by ......" added to the post?

In editpost.php, change:

Pardon what is probably a dumb question.

Do you include the // in the mod lines?

The // changes the line to a comment, and is functionally equivalent to deleting the line. If you prefer, you could simply delete those lines instead. You can also leave out the descriptive comments if you want.

The point of the above hack is to get rid of the $Username==$Postedby test, so that the checkbox is displayed for everyone, not only to users editing their own posts.
