UBB.Developers Forums General Discussion Suggestions and Feedback How do I change the "forums closed" msg?

As the topic says.. I've looked in almost every language file I can think would have it and I don't see it! I'm in the middle of transfering servers, and before making the final change I want to change the message to inform them of the new URL to go to for the time being.

nevermind.. I found it in /includes/closedforums.php

why the heck it isn't a simple language file entry I don't know.. but took me 10 minutes to find it!

I use the Find Files feature in windows explorer.

In windows explorer, select the ubbthreads directory.

Find the Find Files or Search or whatever its called depending on your OS.

Tell it to search for files that included the text you enter.

This is also handy for when you are hacking and you need to find something thats in multiple files.

It's not a language file entry at this point because we don't have online editors for the language files And this allowed us to create an online editor to edit the closed forum message via the admin section
