I installed the 'markuphack' on my 6.0.2 ubbthreads coz I wanted control over the instant graemlins. I then went to install the 'quote with reply' hack and found that both hacks presume you are working with original code.

For example, step 7 of the 'quote with reply' hack says to edit ubbt.inc.php and to add code to a specific line. Since I had installed the 'markuphack', the code in question for step 7 no longer existed.

Just wanted to post a "head's up" on this one.

If you use the MarkUpHack, it actually incorporates the Reply w/Quote hack within it (although it does have a few problems I need to work with Gardener on).

There is a fix for this posted somewheres around here... I ran into this problem too and it fixed it.

I haven't found the fix yet. I'll hold off on adding the 'reply with quote' hack until the conflict is resolved. Thanks.

If you installed the MarkupHack first you can just skip Step 7 on the AutoQuote, since the functionality is already in the MarkupHack.

I have the two installed together and we don't have any problems.

I've attached what the ubbt.inc.php sections should look like.

Thanks Lisa. We have both working on The Terran BBS as well without any problems. Quotes made using the current markup are all converted correctly. Old posts made prior to the implementation of the MarkUpHack occasionally have formatting errors that are easily resolved.

Since you have implemented the MarkUpHack first, flyingcrow, you shouldn't have any trouble.
