Hi all, just like the title says, I would like to know what editors you guys use.

Thanks,

Thanks,
I just downloaded magumo studio lite to give it a whirl.
The whole reason for getting it was to play with your integrated index page. Thanks for your continued support of this forum software.

Homesite 5.0, the best web development package for windows. Unfortunately Macromedia (formally Allair) does not have a Linux version. I recognizes html, javascript, and php. Using a character based editor like vi is a great way to start, put a pain in the ass when time is of the essence. forget about wordpad or notepad.

Personally, i'm in love with www.textpad.com. It's got the best feature set of any text editor i've ever seen, really intuitive interface, and color-codes stuff to aid in HTML, PHP and other scripting.

For me, textpad is to text editors what UBBT is to forums []/forum/images/icons/tongue.gif[/]

I use ULTRAEdit at http://www.ultraedit.com which is the best text editor that I have found and has colors for php, cgi, C(+,++,#), asp, VB, HTMl, and custom themes.

Once you use it you'll never go back to notepad.

PHPEdit at http://www.phpedit.com is also pretty good but not as mature as ULTRAEdit.[]/forum/images/icons/cool.gif[/]
