After installation of MySQL I want to run the mysqladmin and mysql as a SUPERUSER from another PC with the SSH remote client, but is not working...

Does anybody know a solution for it???

Do you have telnet access? I'm not familiar with SSH, but my sys admin finally gave me su access, and I am now able to do some simple commands using telnet on my server (like re-starting MySQL after being down for the whole day). I feel like the blinders have finally come off.
