Hey, my Mega Moderators are complaining about not being able to post polls... Also, with the user titles option in the control pannel, users can set their own titles if you deam their level able to do so, figured some people would find it useful for megamods to be able to set it.

Gizzy's problem was that, the megamod were not properly set, which is not a problem with the files. However, i did learn that megamod was not integrated into the user groups yet. I have updated the zip to incorporate this. But for users already installed this. Here is the upgrade instructions: quote:

### find
my @group_order = qw(administrators moderators senior_members junior_members COPPA_members);
### replace with
my @group_order = qw(administrators megamoderators moderators senior_members junior_members COPPA_members);
### open vars_wordlets_cp.cgi
### add in:
q!user_group_megamoderators! => q!MegaModerator!, The installation docs has been touched up for easier reading. Also i found that the directory is untouched.  My first attempts to integrate this, failed. But as soon as i get it, i'll report back.

cp_vars_avatar.pl cp_user_search_form.pl cp_user_titles.pl the webmaster tried to install this hack and he says we don't even have those 3 files  we just upgraded to 6.4, I don't know what to do, anyone know how to help?

none of the variables show up, in the cp menu, in the user titles etc... (yes I added them to the vars file and they show up in the wordlet list in the cp) any idea what I left out/did wrong? I would really rather not do all that over again, hehe.

Well.. That particular drop down is located in cp_common.pl. Check for the existance of:

Yup, it's in there, exactly.
It's not just that one wordlet that doesn't show up though, it's all of them...
Edit: Just found my problem.. and boy was it something stupid; I had added the wordlets to vars_wordlets.cgi instead of vars_wordlets_cp.cgi

All you had to do was add more tables, because the coding in cp_megamods.cgi accepts unlimited number of megamods.
I just updated cp_vars_megamods.pl to make it even simpiler.  All you have to do, is open up the file, and change the variable $mm_count to however many you want.

Does anyone know if this will work on 6.5? I would test it but I don't have access to ftp on my boards (I'm trying to get the owner to let me have a test board ) Does anyone know if it'll work? cause we are upgrading tomor... today to 6.5 no matter what and we really need this hack

I had it running on 6.5, there weren't too many code additions to 6.5 hence why theres one forum for 6.4 and 6.5 mods.

I have had one problem with it. When I go to Admin someone, some Megamods get demodded, but they still show as megamods in the cp. How could this be fixed?

It was a common error. Your best bet is to upgrade to 6.5 and use Brett's.

In the directory, when you sort by member status, Megamods are listed at the very end. how could I make them appear right after admins?
