i decided to make a topic for this to see what people wanted out of this hack. so far heres whats coming down the line. it might take awhile to get alot of this in so i want a list of things that most people want frist, then we can add the nic-pick stuff.

Store:
This part of the hack will be very important. it will allow users to powerup, heal themselfs, and but new items to use, also some custom stuff ubb already has.

-The money system: This will use a new profile feild. user will gain money by posting, donating, and rating. the admin will be able to edit this in the cp.

-The bank system: users will be able to store a certain amount of their money in a bank. they will have to pay a fee to keep the money in the bank and will make intrest on whats in the bank every day (all will be editble in the cp)

-The item shop: users will be able to buy items like new weponds, magic items, potions etc. these will all be used in battle and show in the users post (if truned on in cp)

-extra's: i might look into adding something to set a price to use avatars, sigs, and mabey ubb code.

The battle system: This has to be the biggest part of the hack. this will allow users to battle each other, power up. the stats will read off this and not the post once coded.

-your battle stats:
in your profile there will be a page will your battle stats. this will show

your wins and loses.
your current stats.
power needed to reach next level/stats

-training.

a DBZ like area. you will be able to fight bots and raise your own stats. just like most rpgs you have to train on the lil monsters before you can take on the big ones (other members)

-battle

in this area users will be able to request to fight someone. if the user agress the battle will take place. here other users will be able to coment on the battle and make bets on it with thier money. once the battle is over all new stats will be added, money transfered. and the battle will close itself just like a topic

-battle ticker

this will show like the lastest threads hack on your main page and in all areas of your forum if truned on in the cp. will show whos fighting and current stats on the battle.

Stats in the users post:

currently this is planed (all can be truned on or off from the cp)

Hit Points: The users power level based on post per day.
Magic points: The amount of magic a user can use, will go down with each magical attack
Mystic Aura: power that the user holds around him, this stat will show how likly he is to use a big attack in battle
Anger Points: This goes up when your life is low, big attacks can be more powerful when this is up, but you are more likly to miss
Dead Title: When a persons Hit Points are at zero it displays dead next to there title
Class: The class of a user, will be defeind in the cp
Job: depending on the class a user may have a job and open his own store to make money for items
EXP: must i explane? :rolleyes: going back to a % look smile
Elements: a very important part of battle, the element the user is will determan what type of magical attacks he may pull off.
power level: the amount of power a user has.

ok...that sums it up for now, let me know what to kill off and what to keep, new ideas welcomed. im hoping to have this out before we see a 6.4, but dont keep your hopes up to much smash

im setting up a dev forum for this with my old ubb i have no need for oO, i sould have a hard code of all the stats soon (basing them off post count) then ill get a beta of the battle and store up, for now they are a long way from begin done, you could call it alpha code. if anyone wants to help out with this one email me

this sounds amazing but i have one request... i want a casino where you can play black jack and slots and **** like that

I hope that the there will be a way to prevent that old members who have a lot of money and weapons etc. will have a significant advantage over the new ones. A "strong" member could illiminate a new one in an instance for example.

What's also an issue is the "higher border" for new members because when they get notice of the teams with abillity's and playing skills it can confirm the impression that joining would be a task on itself. It should be very attractive for new members and not difficult to join and make progress. I saw a RPG hack on VB and it was to complex to be true and it gives an impression that the forum was for elite members only were it is a horrific job to even get close to their group. New members must have a smooth way to join and make progress, without the idea that he/she is outcast or that there is a long long way to go before they can understand the game and gain levels and skills.

A great idea though and if i have suggestions i let you know. wink

thats one reason its ganna be hard to code. im hoping ill be able to pull that off thumbsup
