Trying to install UBB 6 on a OS X 10.1.3 for development. Trying to execute the hello.cgi failed although everything appeared fine. Then I read this post on the Infopop support board.

Of course using the -T option worked for me. Does anyone have UBB 6 running on OS X or some perl zen master who knows what is wrong with my config that requires me to use the -T option.

Thanks!

I suppose I should tell people how I got this to work. It turns out you get that taint error if the directory permissions are wrong for you cgi-bin folder.

And while we're at it - 6.4 should now run cleanly under Taint mode. wink
