I recently moved my UBB from one server to another. The PERL path changed from #!/usr/bin/perl to #!/usr/local/bin/perl ... what all do I need to change? I changed the cp.cgi and ultimatebb.cgi files, but my site is slow. When I do a PERL debugger check, it says it needs to change to #!/usr/local/bin/perl , which is what the files are.

Is there some sort of other file I need to update, or do I need to do all CGI files, or do I need to rebuild the forum threads, etc ?????

On an operating UBB, the only files that need the path to perl identified are the ultimatebb.cgi and cp.cgi which sounds like you've already changed. The only other files with the path to perl in them are the testing files which are not used in an operating UBB, only for initial setup assistance.

Ok ... I guess then that is all ok.

BUT, the UBB Accel test does not work now ... I get a 404 error.

The file is there, so I am wondering if there is a problem that I am unaware of.

Aren't there some hacks here that require the path to be changed also? I'm moving from an IIS server to *nix and I have to verify the path as well.
