ive been working w/ ubb for a while, and have configured it many times... so, i go to change the default style template, and it doesn't apply the changes. the ubb still looks the same, even though the control panel says that it changed the style template.... any ideas with what is happening? this only started happening when i went to 6102, and still happening in 6103...

Maybe you don't have that particular style template associated with the forum(s) you're viewing.

nope... it should all be rigth. im just editing the standard style template. now, if i create a new template, it lets me edit that, and i can set my forums to it, but not the 'ultimatebb.cgi' . im using the same scheme for the entire board, i just want to be able to edit the standard template, but its being obnoxious... thanks for your help

well, since ive been getting so annoyed w/ this, ive deleted and reinstalled the board a couple of times. i know it shouldnt change much, the 2 or 3rd time around, but it worked the 3rd time... that is with the installation of 6102. now if my update to 6103 goes smoothly, im all set.... haha, third times a charm.

I have been struggling with the same problem. I installed 3 times and still nothing. I ended up making a new template and re-associating everything to it. ack! I think I'll post this over at infopop.

you might try clearing your cache and then refreshing your page to make sure you are viewing an older version.

oh, yeah... i thought about the cache, i did empty it and it still did it. i had to reinstall and then it decided to click. but im having the same type of issue AGAIN. not with the style templates, because it at least lets me change those now, but with other things like wordlets. it doesn't change them from the control panel. And the funny thing is, i checked the code, and it did, in fact edit the wordlets, but when i clear my cache, the WORDLETS STAY THE SAME... for some reason, everything worked beautifully in 6102, and its really buggy for me in 6103.... maybe i should just stick with 6102.
