I see reference to that frequently in connection with hack installations.

What does it mean and how does one go about doing it?

chmod is for unix servers. it's a command to set the permissions of a specific file.


depending on how you log into your server, wether ftp, telnet, or ssh, I can't really tell you up front how to so it.

what ftp program do you use?
