is it possible to eliminate these completely
the cp setting give the option to display either or both...
can i pick none?

yes, you can, involves a good bit of work in the templates tho... in our database we turned one off and named the other something else.

Well are you going to put something else in there?? Because if so then just put only one on in the CP then go into the primary wordlets and change the Topics or Posts ones to what you want it to be and then change what goes in the table under it

i just wanted to take it out.
looks a bit messy especially if you have you
private forums...is only visisble in part of the column. and the private forums still give the time and date...private yes but the activity is still noticable.
i thank you for the update love.
we are version 6.04 f? so is 20 more releases before is standardized?
will try to sort it out anyway.

6.1.0 will be released quite soon now, actually... 6.04 -> 6.0.4, therefore we're going off into a "new generation" of UBB6...

Charles.. how soon is soon? w/n weeks..maybe a month or so? I just purchased/installed/hacked a new ubb for http://www.sffbc.com (forum in not linked or active currently), and just wondering when this would be out.. no an exact date, but a timeframe

Internally, we set a deadline for finishing up the core features, and have beat it by just under a week. In other words, we COULD release it, say, oh... today. But we won't... it's not quite as polished as we want it yet, and we're making some (hopefully massive) performance improvements. Unfortunately, those improvements involve a LOT of code changes... those were NOT included in the core feature set originally. I'm afraid of releasing it, actually... becuase then we have to start looking at developing 6.2.0, which is going to be just massive... Who's Online, Polls, Graemlins in the control panel...

yes Cuba my social skills are quite adequate. should please you to know that my copy/paste skills are improving at an astonishing speed...i am certain ubb fears me now. is true  however, i am still in need of assistance and were i any friendlier, javier would have a reason for the erroneous reaction he is displaying... so Charles you are not so far from me...can you deliver or you just a ubb tease eh? you MUST know this answer love... you know i have read every post in this forum and the other...sigh... and i only ask the questions i cannot figure out... but i have a new one now... how can you go to f then add a period and start a new version...
