this will add styles to the category page, and its very easy to install. has integration with the control panel, placing a select box near every category name in the category editing screen. by the time you update the category settings, the cache will be cleared.
I think the zip file has to be re-uploaded If you look at the file called vars_cats_styles.cgi there is nothing in it. this is why you are only seeing the word styles
there was another error, the .zip was updated again.
for those who installed prior to this message (v1.1), in cp_forums_cats.pl (template) find
if ($cathastyle) {
replace for
if ($cathastyle eq $num) {
and thats it. this was placing a "selected" parameter in all options of the style select box in the category settings, making the last style selected in all categories that had one. fixed now.

no, this will only change the category pages. i dont like this too, but it was made that way for people to not see styles of private forums. i never got around with it, but maybe someone from this forum did. try asking in the questions forum...

On the main Forum Listing page, I want to have custom Category Strip Background Color's for Category's I deam Private....
Also, I have the Hyper Cells hack active, and would like the cursor over option to change, when the cursor is over a private forum.... Any Ideas / Suggestions?
