You know how some members have there own ideas on which smilies you need to use?
Well, this hack can solve that.

What it does:
It adds an option to 'my profile' to let users make a list of custom smilies.
When users post, they'll see a dropdown box much like the one from DPK's smilie mod, which they can use to add their custom smilies to their post.

Features:
Clean interface for adding new custom smilies.
Easy adding to posts.
Compatibility with DPK's smilie mod.

Other stuff I may throw in:
Support for custom characters ( :something: ).

Tried this hack, and everything seemed OK, but when I added a smilie it didn`t save.
It just keeps saying I have no smilies selected.

my guess would be check your chmod's, sounds like the file its trying to save to isnt chmod'd 777 so it would be able to save the changes. Its just a wild guess though

Try making a directory under your cgimembers folder called 'custom_smilies' (w/o the qoutes).

I updated it, I think it is finished, but I'm not sure yet.

Sorry to drag this up but i'm newish, but been hacking for a bit without to many prob execpt this one has me stumped.

I enter the url and enter smiley name but all i get is a red x instead of smiley, It seem as though it is using 2 urls.??

Instead of just the www bit it is also using the url of the UBB can anyone help me..?
